Pakistan medical commission (pmc) invites all medical and dental college aspirants to register for National medical & dental college admission test (mdcat) 2022. The mdcat 2022 will be a coputer based mcq test that will be conducted at dsigniated centers across pakistan and various international centers. The timeline for mdcat registration is as follows

Eligibility Criteria:

Any student ABOVE THE AGE OF 16 (On the last date of registration er 15th July 2022), shall be eligible to register for and attempt the MDCAT examination. An FSC/HSSC/A level result/degree IS NOT required for MDCAT 2022 registration. A student can take the MDCAT even before taking their FSC/HSSC/A level exam.

How to apply for national mdcat registration 2022 step by step

Application Procedure:

Log onto

Create an account by providing your basic information, verify your email address & mobile number (mobile number verification applicable for local students only).

Fill in the form with the necessary personal information, and educational detail and select a preferred exam center. (It is mandatory to input your personal details accurately as per your CNIC/B-Form or Passport etc.)

After profile update, pay the exam fee. It can be paid by MCB Bank Challan, Credit/Debit card (VISA/Master), or JAZZ CASH (Wallet)

Log onto the PMC Exams account from 20th July to 25th July 2022 to schedule your exam. Scheduling of the Exam shall be based on First Come-First Serve basis, determined from the date of clearance of fee.

Content of English

The aim of English section of MDCAT is to measure the applicants’ skills in English language and to evaluate how prepared they are for undertaking graduate studies in medicine in English. The test applies a common standard to everyone to be able to evaluate the preparation of the applicants from different sectors, regions and socioeconomic backgrounds.


i. To ensure complete alignment between the English Syllabus used in various sectors at the HSSCand CIE level and the test items

ii. To create a balance of items from different benchmarks of the English Syllabus outlined for MDCAT

iii. To make sure that difficult and ambiguous items beyond the scope of high school education are not included
