The Govt of Punjab, School Education Department has issued the official notification on 22nd March 2023 in connection with School Timing For Ramadan.
School Timing in Ramadan 2023 Punjab
22/2023 Consequent upon approval of Competent Authority, following timing shall be observed in all educational institutions/schools in Punjab during the Holy Month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak-2023.

| Monday to Thursday & Saturday | 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM | Single shift |
| Friday | 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM | |
| Monday to Thursday & Saturday | 7:15 AM to 11:15 AM (morning shift) | Double shift/Insaf Afternoon |
| Monday to Thursday & Saturday | 12:15 PM to 4:30 PM (evening shift) |
It is also mentioned here that the school timing for ECE and nursery will be from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Note: The opening and closing time for Girls Schools shall be 15 minutes earlier than above mentioned timings.
