The Federal Government of Pakistan has increased the salaries of government employees and upgradation of staffs in the country. Ministry of Finance Department has issued notification of salary increase 2022-23.

Ministry of Finance Department has issued the press release regarding upgradation 2022. Adhoc relief allowance 2022 25℅ of basic pay scale 2017 will be given to all employees across the board.
All Federal govt Employees Scale No. 1 to 19 who have not received any additional allowance before will get 25% Adhoc Relief from 1st March 2022 to 30th June 2022. This Relief Allowance 25% will be given of BPS-2017 initial pay stage. Adhoc Relief Allowance is not admissible to the employees who already awarded an allowance of 100% or more than 100% of the basic pay.
Time scale Promotion / upgradation notification 2023
The Finance Committee is working on Time Scale Promotion Upgradation which will be implemented in the light of its recommendations. The posts BPS (1-16) or equivalent will be upgraded on the pattern of Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa w.e.f. 01 January, 2023, the notification said. The grant of time-scale will also be considered for adoption on the same pattern in the next budget,” it added.
The government notified on Thursday a 25% adhoc increase in the salaries of the federal govt employees following successful negotiations between the federal govt employees staffers and a three member ministerial committee.

The finance ministry said in the notification that the federal employees in grade 1 to 19 would get the increased salaries from 1st March 2021. It added that the ad hoc relief could be made part of the basic salary in the next financial year.
The government notified on Thursday a 25% ad hoc increase in the salaries of the federal employees following successful negotiations between the protesting secretariat staffers and a three-member ministerial committee.
