Khyber Medical University, Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khyber Medical University introduced a Centralised Admission Test (KMU CAT) for admissions in Nursing, Physiotherapy (4 disciplines), Pharmacy, 12 BS Paramedics (Lab, Cardiology, Anesthesia, ICU, Dialysis, Cardiac Perfusuon, Emergency, Dental, Surgery, Health Technology, Neurophysiology), Optometry & Public Health programs. We have increased; KMU constituent institutions from 3-13, seats from 300 to 2400 and 12 disciplines to 22. This test is also mandatory for our 170 affiliated institutions (KMU Family) offering quality medical education across the province.

KMU CAT 2022 was conducted in 13 centre’s of the province (Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, Swabi, Swat, Dir, Malakand, Kohat, Bannu, Dikhan & Kurram) with a total of 25,296 candidates (18342 male, 6954 female). The test results will be announced within 72 hrs which can be viewed on KMU official website (cat.kmu.edu.pk). We are thankful to all the partner institutions and Govt, Authorities for their cooperation and support in conducting the test in a peaceful and transparent manner. Participation of more than 25,000 candidates in this test is a sign of confidence in KMU and it’s affiliated institutions. This has provide an opportunity for talented students to come forward in these fields and will eventually improve the overall quality of the health care system in the Country, inshaALLAH.
