Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister for planning, development, and special initiatives, stated in ISLAMABAD that the government has chosen to award 20,000 scholarships to the nation’s unemployed graduates. While speaking at an international meeting on higher education and workforce development in Islamabad, he made the announcement.

20000 Scholarships to Unemployed Graduates
He added that the federal government was committed to giving the impoverished class access to education, saying “The government has decided to grant 20000 scholarships to unemployed graduates.”
In addition, according to Ahsan Iqbal, scholarships would be given to students from remote regions of the nation as part of the Youth Development Initiatives (YDI), a programme that was recently introduced by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Donald Blome, the US ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Keith Grover, the chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), and other dignitaries were present at the summit.
Scholarships at Chinese institutions
For the academic year 2023–2024, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) previously offered fully financed scholarships for study abroad in China. The deadline to apply for scholarships at Chinese institutions is December 15, 2022, according to the Higher Education Commission. Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistani students are invited to apply to study and do research in a variety of subjects at the top universities in China.
