Bahimat Buzurg Program registration. Under the Punjab Government’s “bahimat buzurg program”, the elderly people particularly women will receive monthly Rs 2,000 as a “Social Pension” to the Punjab government to cater to their needs.

“با ہمت بزورگ پروگرام” کے تحت ، بوڑھوں خاص طور پر خواتین کو ان کی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے لئے حکومت پنجاب ماہانہ 2 ہزار روپے بطور “سوشل پنشن” وصول کرے گی۔
In the beginning, Rs 2 billion have been allocated for the Program spearheaded by the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), and it will benefit 125,000 people in Punjab who are not in receipt of other social assistance programs.
Under the Bahimat Buzurg Program, Rs 2,000 per month will be given to beneficiaries having a poverty score below 20.

The registration process for the program’s beneficiaries will begin on November 23 and it will continue for the next three months.
Term and Conditions / eligibility
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that deserving senior citizens aged 65 years and above across Punjab would be given a monthly stipend of Rs 2,000 rupees.
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب عثمان بزدار نے کہا کہ پنجاب بھر میں 65 سال یا اس سے زیادہ عمر کے بزرگ شہریوں کو ماہانہ 2 ہزار روپے وظیفہ دیا جائے گا۔
Only elderly people living below the poverty line of 18, 16, and 30 will be included in this Bahimat Buzurg Program while only one person in the family will be eligible.
اس بہیمت بزورگ پروگرام میں صرف 18 ، 16 اور 30 کی غربت کی لکیر سے نیچے زندگی گزارنے والے بزرگ افراد کو شامل کیا جائے گا جبکہ کنبہ میں صرف ایک شخص اہل ہوگا۔
Registration camps will be set up at every tehsil level of the province.
In view of the coronavirus, less than 150 people should be called to the center daily.
The staff of the Bank of Punjab and the Social Welfare Department will be deployed in the registration center, ATM cards will be issued to senior citizens instead of cash.
